Please pray for our Nominating Committee and for those they are asking to consider serving on the Love INC Board of Directors.  Pray for wisdom, discernment, and willing hearts.

Continue to pray that God would lead the committee that is seeking new office space for our Clearinghouse.  Pray that we would be able to find a suitable, affordable space for our Love INC Clearinghouse.  Praise God with us for the space He provided through CareNet for the past several years, and ask His blessing on CareNet as they expand their ministry space.

Please pray and consider attending our TED Talk – Reflecting on Poverty in Our Own Backyard event on Friday, August 24, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at New Beginnings (35 DeGarmo Road, Poughkeepsie).  This unique event will feature three inspirational TED talks followed by a response from a panel of local seasoned professionals.  There will also be a Q & A with Love INC leadership.  Light refreshments will be served.  Pray that this will be a time when we will grow in our knowledge, love, wisdom, courage, and willingness in answering God’s call to serve our neighbors in need.

Pray for the Building Hope classes that are meeting this month.  Pray that relationships will be built and strengthened and that our neighbors will be able to set and achieve transformative, God-glorifying goals.
