Mid-Hudson Love In the Name of Christ PRAYER Update – February 1, 2019

PRAISE GOD for a wonderful weekend Open House at our new offices at 94 Market Street in Poughkeepsie. We are grateful for the many pastors, volunteers and supporters who stopped by to see our beautiful new space. Thank God for the blessing of this new space, and pray that it will be a place of love and grace and hope for many.

Please pray for the women who are studying the book “When the Storm Hits” by Chuck Smith at our new 8-week workshop on Grief and Loss, led by volunteer Lauri Gruen. Pray that we will have reliable transportation, good weather, and good health so that all the women are able to attend regularly. Pray that this study will be used by God to touch and heal hearts.

Please pray that our Cookie Walk on February 9 will be a successful fund-raiser. Pray that many will stop by for cookies and to learn more about the ministry of Mid-Hudson Love INC.

From the Clearinghouse –
Please pray for neighbors who are experiencing depression – for God to relieve them of this heaviness and deep sadness, for the Holy Spirit to console them and assure them of His love for them, and for them to know God is with them all the time and will never leave them to struggle alone. Pray also for their families who may feel powerless and inadequate to help. May God guide them to people who will support them.

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” ~ James 1:22
