COOKIE WALK

THANK YOU to all our volunteers, bakers and buyers at our COOKIE WALK on Saturday, February 10th!  We had a record-breaking day, giving out 275 bakery boxes and selling out of cookies by 1:00 pm!  Even after everything was sold and packed up, people kept streaming in, looking for cookies and generously giving donations to Love INC.  THANK YOU all for your generosity!

Altogether, we had 583 dozen cookies from the hands of 82 bakers from 17 different churches. Special thanks to Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church for hosting, our Cookie Walk Chairperson Patricia Owen, our event sponsor Steve Jones, financial consultant with Thrivent Financial, and our top three cookie-bakers – Jan Peters (116 dozen), Kathy Birkenmeyer (82 dozen), and Kaye Schrock (23 dozen)!

Over $5,000 was raised for Love INC through this amazing event!
